When ever I am having a blah day and want to get some inspiration there is one store that gets my creativity flowing, Anthropology. Every display is appealing and inquisitive, from their kitchen ware, to dresses, to books, to the decor, everything gives me an idea. For the traveler, adventurer and foodie there is something here for all of you. Check out this display I stumbled upon yesterday, I was craving a baguette after!

People often drive out of their town to explore or sight see but at times your own town offers an array of surprises. I encourage everyone to take the time to walk around their town, snap photos, grab coffee, lunch and explore. Adventures are in places you may least expect it!

This morning I woke up and decided to seize the day and walk across the golden gate bridge. The weather was absolutely breath taking today. In the last issue of "Sunset Magazine" I stumbled across a small blurb on the "Warming Hut" and immediately wanted to find it. Today, I found it. The Warming Hut is incredibly inviting and in the perfect location for walkers, hikers and visitors. The Warming Hut has fantastic coffee and a wonderful view, the bay and the Golden Gate are only a stones throw away. Check it out and it will definitely warm your soul!

Taylor's Refresher gives away the name of this yummy restaurant. Located in Saint Helena, Taylor's is a must stop. Picnic tables surround the old/nouveau style dinner with an array of treats to choose from. A must order: the Ahi Burger, a glass of pinot and onion rings. The Ahi burger is quite frankly like nothing I have ever had!!! Treat yourself to a fantastic meal after a long day of wine tasting, you will be incredibly..... REFRESHED!

Nostalgic and brings me back to the hill tops of La VALLEE Verte. I remember eating it the very first night I spent in France. Every time I dip a piece of soft bread into warm cheese I am taken back to the place I love most, France! I am making Fondue tonight for Friends and dreaming of those green hills in a little town across the globe.

The Napa Valley is full of art, however, there is one winery that incorporates art into everything, Artesa. Located off of highway 121, and near Domaine Carneros, Artesa is in a tucked away location. It is easy for the first time traveler to miss it, however, frequent visitors know that Artesa is a muse in itself. The winery is located on top of a green knoll that overlooks the Carneros Valley. Visitors walk up a flight of steps and are whisked a way to a place filled with art everywhere. The Artesa wines are unique and unlike anything ever to hit your pallet. The Cabernet Francs are filled with notes of dark chocolate and will instantly send sensations to all the senses. If you are traveling throughout the Napa area I highly recommend visiting Artesa, it is truly a piece of art work!
The town of Sutter Creek is nestled about 45 minutes out of Sacramento, off of Jackson Road. Driving to Sutter Creek is half the allure, with rolling hills that span for miles. Sutter Creek is quaint, vibrant and alive. The Palace is a must stop with eclectic decor and a tasty menu, grabbing lunch here is treat. Do go into every shop, and right before you leave grab an ice cream at the old fashion ice cream parlor. Most likely, the smell of candy, ice cream and waffle cones will send you back to childhood. Sutter Creek has something for everyone! Make a day of it and enjoy!
